Haitian Anemone
I just feef my anemone a piece of live shrimp... is it ok ? wat else should I feef it in order for it to survive ?

They don't need a lot to eat. Best chance for survival are:
excellent water quality excellent lighting (t5 or MH) food In that order. They will pull meaty scraps in as you feed your fish. Also, don't be surprised if he deflates entirely with a brown mucus coming out of his mouth soon. That's his way of making a doo-doo. Chuck |

wait but I just put a shrimp on his surface... the circular platform in the middle... should I take it out now ? or just leave it

Feeding your anemone is fine. I do that all the time. A few times a week is ideal, in my opinion. Just watch the water quality.

how do u tell if the anemone is dead, I need to know so I can took it out and stop it from polluting my tank

They start to decompose,get small and turn slimy and if removed do smell badly like any dead thing.

If it dies you should remove it , it will pollute your tank and likely spur a cyanobacterial bloom

I had a condy anemone that killed every fish in my tank when it died. I won't have anotherr anemone in my tank. In a 24 gallon tank, things go wrong quickly. When mine was alive it also would not stay put and ended up moving corals and being a nuisance.
