Orange Sponge

I hate to sound stupid, but my orange frilly sponge seems unusually delicate suddenly and small "branches" seem to be breaking off. It hasn't changed colors and seemed healthy. Does anyone know what is going on or how to save it?

How often and amount?
Turning skimmer off a few hours after feeding may help.

If the flow is good then just add to the water and the amount sounds fine but the skimmer is catching it fater then the coral can absorb. Then adding a meaty food like cyclops would also help.

This would affect the enamone more.It would like pieces of raw shrimp. To much feeding would affect the water quality.Whats tested for and there readings?
And you cant spot feed zooplex it need to stay in the water volume as lons as possible for best absorbtion.
