By the time you get them and if they even eat it the problem will only get worse. You need to remove it manually. And removing the rock is the only way. Another reason to QT coral and frags. I would act fast or 1 yr from now you maybe removeing all the rock to get them all.

I have used Joes Juice with great success, I have only had a few though. Some people say it doesnt work which I cannot believe. They must be using it wrong because it kills them in about 1 second every time.

what I do is turn off all the pumps and such and let the joes juice drift out of the syringe towards it until the aptasia eats it, that is if you can get close enough. It is hit or miss with the peppermints but they are so cheap its worth a shot

I purchased some LR from a fellow RCer and my tank blew up with aiptasia the following weeks! I had 2 peps in there and I can now start to see the aiptasia forest disappearing. I would highly suggest you 2-3 peps tomorrow and let them do their thing.

I attacked them with Joe's Juice and a couple Peppermint shrimps.

What ever was left over the shrimps took care of them.

The shrimp work great, but I can't keep them around for more than a month.
They aren't hiding, no aggressive fish or other inverts. I have had six over the last year on a Nano. R

They would run out and snatch fish food. There are a lot of worms and tiny brittle star hitchhikers in that tank. Could a 2" worm capture a Peppermint Shrimp??

Lysmata wurdemanni (peppermint shrimp) work for me. I have seen some eat zoanthus although not often and not many.

I found a seagrass filefish and he has done wonders. he ate all the aiptasia' s and now eats with the other fish. (unless an aiptasia pops up then he will eat that. ) he hasn't touched any corals. i have had him for 3 months as of now so i don't know of long term effect.
