need advice

I got a new fish and 3 days later he had ich.(I know i should have quarintined). So i set up a hospitol tank(with copper power) and took all my fish out and quarintined them and was gonna leave them for 6 weeks for the ich to die off in my main tank. Two days after i put them in the QT one fish died and now on day 4 another looks like its gonna die.I have had both these fish for a while and niether had ich when i put them in QT.Im wondering if i should just try put the fish back in my display since it seems like there dying anyways.I lost my last new fish to ich a while back so i know that ich has been in my tank for a while and not been affecting my fish just this new one.The new one has no more signs of ich.im thinking of putting them back in the display tank before anymore die and if the ich comes back ill do the full 6 weeks of QT.I will probably leave the one fish that had the ich in copper treatment for a week or so

putting them back in the DT now would be pointless if your tring to rid the tank of ich.

how are you dosing the copper and what test kit are you using to measure copper levels?

if your not testing then I am guessing you prob. overdosed which is what is killing your fish. you must test constantly when dosing copper.

IMO I would put the fish back into the Dt until you get a test kit then treat them.

the recommended dosage isn't always correct.

how big is the qt tank? and how many fish in there? they usually die from stress and ich combined. I put 3 tangs in a 20g qt before and in 2 days they died. recently I put 1 big tang in a 75g qt and he is very very happy, cuss he's by himself, been in there for 8 weeks now.

it's not the ich that always kills them. imo, ich is like aids, it doesn't literally kill the fish, but make it so that they do die from something else.
