Denitrator Feedback

I found this Denitrator on EBAY

http://cgi.ebay.com/Denitrator-no-fe...3286.m20.l1116

and wondered if anyone has any experience with it? I am looking at getting one but wanted to stay under $200.00.

You know i've seen this on ebay too and have wondered about it but you know something just doesn't seem right here? If you do end up buying it let me know how it works out ok?

No problem; however, I think I am going to go with the midwest denitrator unless I get a positive review with this one.

Looks like a DIY job.

Probably read DJFrankie's thread and decided to make a few bux off his idea.

http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...5&pagenumber=1

If you read the whole thread (43 pages) you'll see around half-way through someone came up with the idea of using two separate reactor tubes, like this one.

Thanks, I do like the idea! Can anyone comment on how effective this is?

Take a few moments (couple three hours?) to read thru the thread. I think you'll find that all of the people who followed djfrankies explicit instructions met with success.

Djfrankie will be back monday so you can direct any questions you have to him, and I'm sure he'll help you.

you can get RO canister , 1" pvc pipe , small 'O' ring and reducer to make the effluent small (like the air control valve) and to make one that will work without any problem to your tank size .

if you don't have heavy bio load you can use also small phosban reactor and it can work good to , but again it's depend on your bio load if . more nitrate need more media.....
