Need ID Help Please!
Does anyone know what this is? Looks like a polyp or a feather duster to me, but not sure.
Here are also a couple pics of a worm that appeared... is it bad for the tank?

the worm could be a bristle worm--hard to tell from the pic--if so good for the substrate and harmless really

the polyp-looking things appear to be the same type of animal but I couldn't get a decent enough picture. I noticed the bigger one first which shortly disappeared and re-emerged a few days later twice as big. The little one recently came out of nowhere....go figure

you will be amazed at what is living on and in the core of some of that rock if you are just setting up the tank and letting it cycle--make sure to monitor ammonia levels and do water changes if they spike--this will preserve alot of that life in the rocks

Fortunately we have had NO ammonia spike. The LR was very carefully acclimated to the tank and we inspected them to the best of our ability before they went in... luckily we found a mantis shrimp before hand and sent him back to his home.
The tank was very well established before the addition of the LR and the LR was added piece by piece when ever we would come across a nice piece in the yard.
