current brand bulbs going down hill?

am i the only one who knoticed since the package change the blue on the actinic seems whiter!?

i compared the bulbs side by side ( both new in box one old packaging one new packaging) and the new seems to put of a whiter blue ( customer was complaiing that the actinic didnt give the same look as the ones we had on our tanks and he was right!(switch out bulbs to some old packaged bulbs and yea...)


any one else knotice this ?
are they going lighter on the phosphors or somthing
