Tunze Skimmers
I'm interested in a tunze skimmer for a frag tank, and would like some feedback from those who own them.

I run a 9010 on my setup. I really like it's small footprint, it's easy to clean, and VERY quiet. The only thing for me is that it doesn't pull a ton of skimmate. Maybe my water is super clean!!! NOT

I agree ^^. I have the nano model (9002) with a total tank/sump volume of about 30 gallons, I like to feed my tank , and the skimmer just doesn't seem to do much of anything. The tank overflow drains into the same compartment the skimmer is in, and you'd think it'd be pulling a ton of crud out, but at best I'm getting weak tea, and not much of it at that. Very disappointed in it, and I make a point of telling it that at least 3x/day
