Metal Hailde?

I have 175 watt bulb.How long should I have it on a day?I have it on from 10 am to 8 pm.Is that ok or should I be doing something else?

Thats sounds fine. I would not go anymore than 10 hours

I have mine going for seven hours...from noon to seven...seems to work out fine.

MH 10 hours on. Actinics 14 hours on (2 hour before MH on plus 2 hour after MH off). Then moon lights.
