Moving a leather and xena

Anyone know of a good way to get a leather and pulsing xena off a rock. They are attached to one rock and I would like to move them to another.

break the rock under them so that they are still attached then super glue or epoxy them to the rock that you want them to be on, or if your more experienced just take it off the rock and attach it to another rock

Do you just pull them off the rock or do you have to cut with an knife?

For xenia, i just pull them off in chunks.. However you will find that if you leave ANY piece of it on the rock, it will grow back. I also find that with both leathers and xenias, you can start by using your finger nail under a corner and gently seperate it from the rock. Once you have a hold of it you can stat pulling. Both of these are pretty tough and can take some handling.
