This things bites!!!!!!!!! I can't get a better picture but it looks like a crab/ spider brown in color and can roll up into a ball. although he is not afraid to grab you.

If it's bold enough to attack you, then it will attack other things in your tank. Don't chance it! Get rid of it. Throw it in the fuge, if you have one. If not, it's your call on how to dispose of the life.
