can you feed a lion fish tuna?
curious... I saw something saying it was too fatty, which didn't make too much sense to me since tuna can be very lean.

yeah, on hindsight I agree. He did basically take it from my fingers, but it makes sense.
Although tuna is not an oily fish...from my understanding.

Thats what I figured, but just being cautious bc you never know if it has something in it that would be bad for a lion.
thanks.

I hate onions in my tuna salad. I'm curious how your lion feels about it.

I know with cats, you can't feed them wholly on red tuna, or they develop serious dietary deficiencies.
I'd suspect that lions, who eat whole little fish (I don't think you'd likely see a lion scavenging a dead tuna) require the bone, gut, organs and stomach contents to remain at their healthiest. I don't think it would hurt now and again, but mostly lions need to eat what lions in the wild eat.
