Return Vinyl hosing....clean or not????
I was wondering if any of the algea inside of the return clear vinyl hoses , *2* at 1 inch, need cleaning in a FOWLR??? My seem to be brownish with small patches of green visible through. My tank is spotless of algea at the moment so, should I worry????? I do have plenty of flow through them with my 1200 gph gen x mak 4.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it was causing a problem. It wouldn't hurt anything to clean or replace it if it bothers you.

I would leave it be if it was running fine, but when you do replace it, try to get the black tubing. less algae
