Question about my skimmer?
I have a Pro Clear Aquatics 150 skimmer and I've had it running for about a week now and it is not making as much waste as I would assume it should be. The bubbles in the reaction chamber just barely make it into the collection cup but some of it does get there because I can see some dirty looking water in it just below the outlet line.
I have the water adjustment raised all the way up and still nothing much comes out of it. Any ideas?

The skimmer needs time to break in and also depends on your bioload. It takes time to build up the biofilm inside the skimmer. The skimmer will start kicking out kunk in a week or so, so be patient. Does that skimmer inject the air at the pumps intake or after?

Ummm....I think it injects it at the intake....yes, the air tube goes straight to the intake tube.

Also, I have about 14 small fish and some various hermits and conchs and other inverts.
