MH Replacement Qustion

Do MH bulbs have a direction in which they need to be installed? My 250W MH have a connector at both ends

I believe they only go in one way, and no top or bottom.

Sounds like an HQI fixture? In that case I don't think it matters. If it's a mogul base, most of those are installed horizontally.
