Best Reef Lighting???
I know this question is probly asked many times before, but what exactly is the best light for coral, like sps and lps? And what exactly does kelvin mean? Is it better to have a lower number kelvin or higher?
Also for example is a 10K Metal Halide light the same as a 10K LED light if there is such a thing? Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Degrees kelvin is a measurement of the temperature of stars ,different temperature stars show different colors, lower temps start red ,orange, yellow , white ,and the highest temp are blue these apply to the visible spectrum only. At least this is my understanding.
