Also there is some live rock with zoas and 2 hermit crabs who were hitch hikers. They've been in there for more than a week.. They seem to be doing fine.

Just keep being patient. Soon some of the ammonia will turn to Nitrite. When BOTH Ammonia and Nitrite reach Zero, then your cycle is complete. It'll probably take another week or two.

Your tank is going through a cycle. Hoepfully your zoas and hermit crabs will survive it as there is a chance they may not. if you can remove them and place them in another tank it would be better. but just be patient and take things slowly and soon enough the ammonia will be be broken down to nitrites and nitrates.

if the zoas and hermits didnt die from tranport of the rock, and already so far, Im betting they are going to tough it out.
neither is particularly fragile. nor expensive enough to go to extremes to try and save. extremes would be to start doing daily water changes... salt isnt free though.
