RO/DI Filter setup

I just got a 75gpd RO/DI unit and tried to hook it up and it does not seem to be working right at all. Can someone who knows write out a plumbing chart of how the flow goes from inlet all the way through the DI and especially how the waste hooks from the ro membrane.

I bought the Optima Vision from PurelyH2O and I think it is plumbed wrong since I get a pressurized streem of waste and no DI at all?

it looks like a 10" filmtec RO membrane with 1 port on one side and 2 ports on the other end. I have a pressure gauge after the second prefilter stage.

Stage 1: carbon block
Stage 2: sediment filter
Stage 3: RO Membrane
Stage 4 DI chamber

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ben

Ben - Here is a diagram (you'll just have a 1st and 2nd stage before the DI) from TheFilterGuys webpage and is how mine is plumbed:

check that the flush kit is turned off. usually that is a common error.

The system you bought doesn't come with a flush valve, although kau did have a good thought.

What does your pressure gauge read?
