i have a 29 long but ut had a hampster in it can i still use it for a sump?

sure - just make sure you clean it out really well. Scrub with soap and water and a vinegar soak- rinse thoroughly. should make a great sump. check out the DIY forum for ideas on setup, bulkheads, etc. good luck!

just an fyi, make sure its not the reptile tanks or something of that manner. those usually have thinner panes of glass. make sure its an aquarium made for fish. if it is then your fine, do what reefworm said
