Damsel Eating Xenia???

Hey guys, I just acclimated some Xenia into the tank, and I did the TOOTHPICK method so they were slimy going in.. I saw the damsel pick at the xenia twice.. he's left them alone now (POM POM)... I was just curious if he was just removing the slime? Or is he really going to treat this as a snack??

Thanks

doubt you need to worry about that.
wont be long the xenia will be climbing the walls... if you dont want it on all your rock you might isolate it on the bottom of the dt.

regards

On occaision some damsels will nip back coral to expose some bare rock. They usually do this to establish spawning sites, as some of them lay their eggs if I am not mistaken.
