Metal Halides

Does anyone have a good link to a site where I can learn more about MH lighting?

I can't think of one stop source. You may have to do a few searches. Here is one to start http://www.aquarium-lighting-guide.com/

Thanks ... I recently acquired quite a few MH lamps and not sure if they'll work in a reef set up of not. 250's and 175's.

I'm not sure about those. Try posting the same thing in the lighting and equipment forum. Have you turned them on? They might appear much more yellow than you would like.

I've seen them lit, they light bright white leaning toward blue, but I could not give you a color temp. I'll keep researching. These lamps aren't on the site you sent Andy, thanks though.
