Anyone keeping SPS with a sugar fine deep sand bed?

Trying to decide what grade of sand to buy. I want sugar fine but I'm concerned I won't be able to get the flow needed for SPS without causing a sand storm. Anyone had any success/failure with this?

I have a fine grain deep sand bed and I am keeping all different kinds of SPS, you have to adjust the flow so that its not hitting the sand bed.
