Dwarf Seahorse Questions
My g/f wants to keep dwarf seahorses... maybe two. My main question is this, we're thinking of getting a 24gallon nano, will this be large enough to keep two of these little guys?
Anyone have any suggestions or words of wisdom about Dwarf Seahorses?

That tank is large enough for more than 2, there are a couple of sites that sell them captive bred ,those are the best

The nano cube are not the best tanks for these little guys. They are really tiny and not very strong swimmers. I used to keep around 15 in a 5g with a sponge filter. You need a smaller tank to get high densities of BBS when you feed. DSH are passive feeders and would prefer to snick food as it passes by their favorite hitching post.
They are amazing creatures. You get hours of entertainment from watching them. HTH |

Ahh, thanks.
www.seahorsesource.com seems to have only full sized SH's, not the dwarfs. Anyone see anything wrong with wild caught DSHs?
