Have You Tested Your PAR Lately?
I just tested my PAR values the other day. The results were much higher than I would have expected. The SPS 20K is on a magnetic ballast and the Radium (also 20K) is on an older Coralife electronic ballast. The reflectors are DIY Lumenarcs. The VHO's are actinic. All of the bulbs are ~8 months old.
The annotations are: F = Front B = Back M = Middle ^^ = Above the surface If you have a photo showing your PAR values, feel free to add it for others to see. FYI - the 180 reading was well shaded by the montipora digitata.
