Returns/Overflows on side/back drilled tanks (LF: Photos)
I could use some photos of what you guys have done with back/side drilled tanks for your return line(s)... I'm only planning a single return line but I have no idea how to run it nicely.
Also, inside the overflow, do you do the duroso pipe with a side drilled? |

hmmm where to start...
Well here's what I did. The coast to coast calfo overflow using Bean's method of plumbing. Basically all three lines would need to become clogged for this sucker to overflow. It's silent and failsafe. http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...readid=1310585 My return just comes over the top of the tank. Here are some shots: My most recent shots: Right Side: Left Side: |

Hmm... Interesting setup. I found the original website and read up on it, sort of surprised you need all 3 pipes. I was going to ask if it would work with 2 before I saw the official page, but they make it very clear that you wouldn't want to do that.
Anyone else (that's not doing this method), can you post some photos? |
