phosban reactor mounted in tank?
i was wondering if it was possible to mount my two phosban reactors inside my sump and not outside. i have this phobia that one might leak and if they do it doesnt end up on the floor but back in the sump.I was also wondering if this will affect performance. do any of you have them mounted this way?

After a couple of spills you get over it.
I really don't see a reason why it would be a problem, it may not look cool but other than that... |

I run mine internal inside the sump. Just the label comes off.
IMO... It's much safer than external.

i was going to post a similar thread to this. My phosban reactor(Two LIttle Fishes) is currently leaking and I'm not sure if there is supposed to be a rubber o-ring? and if there isn't supposed to be one and i mount it in the tank with it leaking constantly does that mean it isnt working correctly?

there SHOULD be one. no, it shouldn't leak. remember that the rubber o-ring doesn't go inside the cap, but on the actual chamber screwing part. if you have it in the cap, it will leak. |
