Blue Tang - Algae Clip

Do I have to keep algae in the clip 24/7 for my Blue Tang? Or just once a day until gone? She does eat it buy also schreds it and it flows through the tank...I worry about the waste adding to the load?

Thank you
Shelley

I don't even use a clip. It got all over the place. You could either use the clip with the black grid stuff on it, or just toss a piece in every once in a while. They will pick at the LR between feeding.

I just do it a few times a week. As long as you feed the fish regularly, its not necessary to have nori all the time.

I use the clip once a day, and the tangs usually pick it clean within an hour... then I pull it out.

If they didn't pick it clean, I would still probably pull it out after an hour or so.

Anyone have any idea where these are available in the U.S.? Most of the online sources I found were in the U.K.
