Will be buying a new fish tank soon!

WIll be buying a 45ish sized nano cube tanks with the built in filter in the back, curved front face and moonlighting on top.

I never owned one of these before.

Is the filtration easy to setup?

The ones at the LFS seems to have tiny Anemones going into the surface skimmer and just hanging out there.

Would that harm the filtration? I think they are called biocubes.

Most cubes are under 30g, not 45ish, and with built in filtration you lose another 5g or so.

Keep that in mind while stocking.

I never owned a biocube so I can't help with many of the questions but I do know they are not drilled on the bottom.

If youre buying a new tank, why not just buy bigger than you already have? Then you can move your hippo tang to there.

i currently have a biocube8. i think the largest of the "nano" tanks is the jbj28 & it has halide which from what i read, almost recesitates the use of a chiller. another great "all-in-one" tank is the red sea max which is 34gal, but it's pricey!!!

i considered both when deciding to go bigger, but in the end, have decided on a standard 90gal rectangular tank.

read my introduction thread for why i don't like small tanks
