I think any pressure rated pump will work with eductors.

First, any pump will run an eductor. They just won't run it efficiently. Meaning, you get less flow out of the eductor than if you didn't have the eductor.
With that said, most eductors will introduce ~10 feet of head pressure. Figure out head pressure loss with your plumbing configuration, through the SCWD (I don't know what head pressure a SCWD introduces). Then, add 10 feet of head pressure to it, figure out what the pump would be pushing out the eductor. You have to determine if the pump can overcome the head pressure and then get enough flow back from the eductor to make up for the head pressure loss. As for pumps and recommendations, I don't have one as it depends on other things other than the pump, eductor and SCWD. Mainly plumbing configurations and head losses from it all. |

I was looking trying to find some info on the head pressure of a SCWD and most of what I find says you lose about 20% of the water flow through it due to head pressure. Something to consider.
Also, realize that as the SCWD is changing directions, the eductors won't be getting the full flow from the pump and that will drop the eductors production. |

ya i was looking at that to and saw that it reuced flow 15-20% and now i just want to do 2 eductors no switching, ive heard about iwaki 55 doing a great job but i dont want to pay 350$ if i dont have to. as far as plumbing it'll be about 12" up and the split via a y and the a 45 on each side and the go to the eductor

I ran four 3/4" eductors off of a Barracuda pump and couldn't keep the sand in my tank. It also hurt the overall turnover rate quite a bit.
