Question Looking for local help in Pa

Hey everyone, me and my wife are very interested in starting a reef aquarium. We really do not know much about this, hence why im here talking to you all. I have been reading a few of the posts, and the Newbie corner thread. Is there anyone around the eastern side of Pa....we're from Tamaqua. That can tell us some good places around us. I have done some looking on craigslist for tanks and i found some. But the nicest was a long 55gallon. And i read on here a 100 or 100+ is the best to start with. Anyway i will let you all respond with your input. Thanks for the help!!

I would post this in the philly forum. Some people who post there are from your area and can help point you in the right direction.

Starting with a 55 is fine. plus they are a 4ft tank so any lights you buy would work on a tank as big as 240 gallons (4ft x 4ft).

But checking you local forum is the best. There is a really good PA store in central PA, cant think of the name tho. it is closer to phila than pittsburgh.

There is a large store, "That Pet Place/That Fish Place" in Lancaster PA. Big selection of both dry goods and livestock. Google it an you find information. They have an online business as well as a store.
