Amazing healing
i have oscars
they usually get all bumped up cuz they are clumsy and they have their little spats one day they look like they went through hell and when i wake up the next day they look like nothing happened out of curiosity do saltwater fish heal this way too like freshwater fish? or is their slime coat different in some way and it heals differently?

for the most part yes but it also depends on how you feed them. if you feed them alot they heal quicker feed them less then slower. also the ick isnt as intense eather i dont think with saltwater i mean i have had plunty of fish with ick and never bother to even start a qt tank and guess what else i have never had a fish die on me cuz of it eather. all i do is up the feeding alittle more..

My trigger will get sliced up by my tang or ram into a wall and have a wound with flesh floating off it and it is completely healed the next morning that I look at the tank.
