Aquarium Upgrade
Evening,
Well I was surprised today by finding out that my mother in law that we live with put an offer on another house that we had looked at. We had recently moved my 75 Gal up here and I'm not looking forward to moving it again, so I'm planning on upgrading this time. At the moment I haven't been successful at finding anyone locally in the Grand Juction, Glenwood area in Colorado that carries any decent reef ready tanks so if anyone knows of anyplace that would be great. Also, I tried searching on here for the past couple of hours for custom tank manufactures, but I've come up empty so far. Any links to anyone who would make a custom tank and ship it (or ship normal tanks etc) as a last resort would also be appreciated. As a last part what manufactures do you recomend for reef ready tanks? I have all all glass aquarium currently and I probably will stick with glass instead of accrylic. I've looked at Oceanic tanks at my last LFS and was decently impressed but haven't seen much else. Thank you for your help! |

So far I've found ******* and My Reef Creations. Any comments on either?
Also any recommendations on lighting a 125-135. Right now I have two 175 watt MH, and 1 VHO actinic on my 75. I was thinking about a two VHO actinic retrofit on the new tank, but wasn't sure about how many MH, what wattage etc. |

What do you plan on keeping in your tank?

Right now I have a mix of mixed tank of LPS, SPS and a few softies. I am definitely starting to gravitate more towards SPS now that I have a little more cash flow.
Will three 175's be enough spread, or will I need to go with 3 250's for better deeper coverage? |
