Alkalinty problem after adding Phosban reactor
Hello,
I recently noticed that my Alk has been dropping a little low since I added my Phosban reactor. Prior to adding the reactor I rarely had to add ALK buffer to my tank, now I am adding it approx. 2 times a week to keep it above an Alk of 8.0. I this normal? I like to keep my Alk between 9-10 if possible. But, is their a better way I do this without adding the buffer. I am already dosing with Bionic everyday in addition. My params are as follows: Ammonia-0 Nitrites-0 NItrates-<5> Phos-0 Alk-8 Calc-390-410 PH-8-8.3 Salinity-1.025

the phosban media has a warning on it that says that using too much will drain alk. cut back on the amount of GFO you're running.
