ballast to mogul socket ?

I just got my mogul sockets from hellolights and are wired with the black and white wire. What is everyone doing with the ground wire from the ballast? Should I ground the socket or just cap the ground wire?

Thanks

Attach the ground wire to the bolt that attached the mogul to the reflector/bracket.
