Water Reservoir

I am planning on adding a water reservoir to my tank.

What are you running and how to you pre-mix?

What type of reservoir are you talking about, an auto top off? Also, pre-mixing what? Sorry, but the questions are a little vague.

Sump? ATO? or just a place to store water for future water changes?

Sorry.

This would be for an ATO and do you guys/gals pre-mix that water with the salt mix? Or is it just RO/DI water?

The salt does not evaporate, so when you "top off" (meaning replace water that has evaporated), you always use RO/DI water that is not mixed with salt. This does not excuse you from frequent checks of salinity, however, especially when you're just starting out.

For my ATO, I use a brute trash can filled with ro/di water mixed with Kalk water.

I use a ATO controller to top my sump off with.

I use 1 tsp to 1 gal of water. However everybody's system is different. It really all depends on how much CA & ALK your coral consume.

Here's some good info on how to use Kalk.
