How hot should electronic ballast get?

I have a 150w MH electronic ballast for ballastwise.com just wondering how hot they should get? Should you be able to put your hand on it and leave it there?

i have 250 Icecap E ballast and it only gets Warm- If it were a Magnetic, I'de say YEAH

Is it a M80 ballast?? Most likely is for a 150 watt DE. Mine get very hot, cant leave my hand on them too long. I run a fan over them too keep heat down. They are under my stand with my sump though.
