150, 175 or 250 watt MH for 125 gallon?
I am in the process of upgrading from a 75 gallon to a new 125g. The tank is 72"x18". I currently have 6 48" T5's on my 75 and have never had MH's before, so i was just curious what wattage most of you would recomend. Tank is mostly LPS, a few softies and maybe 1 or 2 sps (moti cap, ect..). Also are SE or DE better? I plan on trying to trade the 6 T5's for a MH set up, so should i ask for magnetic or electronic ballasts? Thanks for any help

I would go with SE 250w and lumen bright 3 reflectors. That will allow you to keep anything you want, including sps on the sand.
