qt question
i have 2 two fish in the qt tank, should i ad any preventive type meds . or just feed and watch. these are my first so i want to due this the right way.

I think it depends on which kind of fish it is.ie if its a tang you want to either treat with copper or hypo them to treat ick.I also beleive that any wc fish you want to deworm them.I think there is a thread pinned on this forum talking about all this.

I treat every single new arrival with copper in QT for 3 weeks.

I would suggest just feeding and watching. Only treat if/when something comes up, and once you know what it is.

It depends on what type of fish they are. Many butterflys and angels (as well as other fish) are coming in with flukes. Here is a good thread on flukes:
