Painting the back of tank

What type of paint is used to paint the back of tanks?

Yep, used Krylon on my 300g and works well. As long as you will not have any back light at all it looks great. No worry about streaks or anything.

I have read black makes the colors on the fish stand out better and blue makes tank seem bigger... but havent had either first hand so dont take my word for it : )

Black, but I painted mine with a roller so I could do it in the house.

I used a dark blue krylon, and i'm happy with it...it all depends on your preference really...

I went with a black background for my tank, but it doesnt really matter unless you plan on maintaining that back pane. It will cover with coralline (or coral if you put them back there) soon enough, and the color selection will be moot.
