Closed loop openings

How far from a powerhead and overflow would you recommend a closed loop intake be.
I am working on a tank and I am not sure how far to put two from the overflow that will also have two Tunze Streams near it.

I don't think there is a set distance but, you'll get more advice if you post a pic.

Sorry nothing to take a picture of at this time. There is no overflow or anything yet.
