Hello all,
I have a longspined urchin in my 100Gal reef and he just spewed a white milky substance into the water. Does anyone know what this was and if it is harmful to my coral or fish? The Tangs seem irritiated. Sandry75

Is anything oozing out of the top of him. If not, probably sperm. I did a lot of undergrad work with Diadema species in college and was able to see them in reproduction mode many times. Shouldnt' be a problem. IMO

If that is the case I know why the Tangs are irritated... I know I'd be...
