180g Large Tang Suggestion

Hey, I need a suggestion for a large tang for my new 180g Fowlr that'll be going up sometime this winter. I'd like the fish to be compatible with a yellow tang, as far as tang wise. The tank is 72"x24"x24"

Thanks,
Steve

I'm new, so I basically know nothing, but I like the Naso Blonde or Lipstick. I THINK two tangs will fight though, no? You need one, or three or more. Not sure about that with a 180 though.

you're fine with just 2 if thats what you choose.

Naso's are very nice and pretty docile.

I agree about the Naso or Blonde Naso. Beautiful fish. Because the Naso and the yellow tang have different body shapes you should be OK. Introduce them both at the same time and you will help the situation even more, because you will avoid territorial disputes. Try and get a Naso from a fellow reefer or at best make sure it is eating before you buy it. Sometimes they are hard to get to eat in the beginning. They prefer brown algae.

Sohal will get too big.

You could do a Purple Tang, Powder Brown, White Cheek, Naso, Chevron, Convict, Orange Shoulder, or of course any of the bristletooth tangs.

Sohal, Clown, Unicorn, and Vlamingi(sp?) all need 8 FT Tanks or larger to be happy.
