Night mode
i was thinking of programming my reef keeper elite to power off my 4 tunze when in light mode and only have the return pump running at night . Then in the morning turn the tunze back on. Will having the tunze be off at night not good for current circulation? Or should i run them 24/7 liek i do now?
Thanks Andy |

I'm not sure that Tunze (I'm assuming streams) will tolerate ON/OFF for a long time. It may cause premature failure. I know some are controllable and have a night mode in which they dial back their flow with use of a photocell. But again, OFF/ON, might damage them. If they are the old style tunze PH's, I believe they are built to handle the off and on modes for use with a wave timer and night time modes.
Which Tunzes are you using?

i have a tune 6100 and 6101 and two nano stream 6080 (controllable ones) they're currently connected to my 7095 controller but i want to get it to dial or turn the 6100/6101 off at night and keep the nano's on.
