my 125 tank setup and Question
This is my 125 tank set up that I bought used. Do I need the overflow on the right? Should I just plug it and only have one overflow going into the bio balls and have my return go from the large area? Also, the place where the "X" is found..Is that for live rock rubble, live sand???? Thanks! |

I'm not an expert, but the X is where most would likely place their return pump. The return pump right next to the skimmer as pictured would likely suck bubbles and push them into your main display.

actually looks like where you would keep bio-balls, thats how mine was set up before I modded it to just a sump.
Depending on the pump your using on your return will determine if you need one or both overflows. If 1 can handle the flow then you really don't need both, but you could plumb in a fuge and use one for the fuge and one run to the sump. |
