I'm no expert (read: at all) but I don't think bubble tips are supposed to be WHITE. What lighting do you have on it?
Edit: And how long has the tank been set up? |

I think that is just green coralline algae, its not bad.
And your tank looks brand new, so clean. |

You have a lot in your tank for a two month set-up. Everything looks good to me. In a new tank you should really slowly increase the lighting periods, working up to your full light schedule. Sometimes if you blast a new tank/ rock with 8 hours of light you can get some algae blooms. Maybe add a couple emerald crabs... they like the gha.

Tank doesn't look too bad at all. Most all new tanks have algae blooms. Just watch the feeding and make sure you're rinsing your frozen foods. You might want to try and increase water flow to make sure you have no deadspots. Or, you could make a refugium (google search for those) and you can grow macroalgea that will out compete. Biggest tip (this one was definitely hard for me to learn as well) is patience. It will take a while but with persistence you can definitely get rid of it. I also suggest doing some reading on wetwebmedia.com. Great site as well! Good luck!

I think you need more flow, those koralia nanos are very small. Usually you want atleast 30x your tank size of flow / HR. So in your case 56Gx30 = ~1500GPH. I know Koralia 1s give about 400GPH, you would need about 4 of those or less of the #2s. I would look into getting more powerheads and use the nanos to direct flow at the back of tank where there are usually dead spots.

I've got a 55gallon and I run a Koralia 3. Planning on getting either a second K3 or a K2.
Hope this helps. Edit: Also just to note... Don't buy the Koralia's at your LFS. I spent double at the LFS than I would have spent online for the Koralia. Just a suggestion Dr Foster & Smith has decent prices, one of the sponsors here. |

Yeah, it's looking like green coraline algae... and I also agree with adding more flow. I suggest two K3's or at the least one K3 along with the 2 nanos.... but honestly, I don't think the nanos are doing anything in a tank that size.

A BBQ at the LFS is a great idea! They should start doing that around here.. although it's a bit cold for that now!
