Cleaner shrimp are cool aren't they.

I think you have to work on the focus a little bit. Digital Cameras are very hard to get to focus exactly how you want them to, trust me, my pic isn't in focus either. The other thing you are dealing with is a live critter that is moving around, good luck, lets see some of the other pics or an overall?

You can adjust the shutter speed, if you have that option, to take a more clear picture of the shrimp moving.

I think Coral Banded Shrimp are so much cooler, by far! LOL

I took this picture!

And this is my little model:

Thanks. That was taken with a Canon 5D and 100mm macro lens @ 1/200th and f/8. To get a fast shutter and large depth of field... you need MORE light!

Great shots btw....

check out http://strobist.com for great tips and tricks if you are interested in off camera lighting.

Sorry to side track the thread. Will, I'm up in the air about the 5DMk2 but the price of the Mk1 is going down and a great buy! For the extra $$$ I could almost buy a nice L lense. I just need to win the lotto, thats all there is to it!!!!

Yep, strobist is a good site. Good info.

The 5DmkII is sweet. Trying to figure out how to swing that You're right, you can probably find a good deal on a mk1 now. It's still a great camera... but something cool about iso 25600 and HD video!

Will, you have a great shot there!

Cleaner shrimp are pretty neat. Here is mine where he looks like a lion emerging from its den, letting out a huge roar!
