Bird Wrasse No longer eating
Hey all
On Saturday I was playing around in the sump, and caught a few pods and mysis Shrimp which were hanging onto media bags etc. I threw them in the tank, and my bird wrasse had a feast. I've been away for a couple of days, and come back to find he's not eating anymore (Wouldn't eat for the person looking after the tank either, spend alot of time hiding aparently) Tried a number of things to see if he'll eat. He picked at a piece of mussel, but didn't act like his normal pig of self. He looks happy & healthy, swims around with the others and acts like he wants to be fed, but just wont eat anything I've offered. Have managed to find a couple of pods in the sump which I threw in the display. He ate one, and the other one escaped. Is it possible that after eating live food, he's developed the taste, and may even be finding the live food in the tank himself? I know theres tons of mysis crawling round in the rocks, not to mention pods. Also plenty of bristleworms which I've heard they like to eat aswel. Any ideas? |
