Brown Algae
I have a terrible brown algea problem in a 14 gallon biocube. Phosphates are at 0, but Nitrates are a little high. I tried one of the small fision protein skimmers and it was totally worthless. I also do 10% water changes weekly. Any ideas to cut down on brown algea. It is very unsigtly and covers all the live rock.

Well, if it is a new tank, the initial diatom bloom is part of the cycling process. What are your other levels like, ammonia, nitrite, etc.?

less feeding and siphoning/manual removal will help too. What kind of water do you use?
