Cleaning Algae On Curved Glass?

What is the best way to clean the algae off of a bow front tank? I have a magnet that does the majority of the cleaning but I don't want to get too close to the sand bed so there is a line about two inches wide at the bottom of my tank. Would a Kent marine scrapper work on this or is there a better tool to use?

A number of companies sell curved pad scrapers that are designed for cleaning a bow front. Just Google a search and you'll find plenty of suppliers.
