All my tests are good whats wrong?

I have bad hair algae, I use gfo with reactor, cheato, snails, hermit crabs, sea hare, 1 emerald crab, dmnd gobbie, I even clean algae off right ways, they keep coming back, I dont know any more, all my test are good to the T.

I am not sure but I dont think my tests would be right if I use tap water.

Depends what you're testing for. In any case, the more detailed information you can provide the better.

I think its fairly clear I have tested in every way use ro and things I have, I test every thing

Maybe I missed it, but what all have you tested for?

edit... and what test kits are you using. many test kits can't give good PO4 reading's.

i ripped a bunch out, as much as I could by hand and have been doing weekly changes. I also got a fox face and he has been picking at the rocks a lot. He wont eat anything that is really long so I have to pull that out. Right now I only see a few small spots left.

There was also a lot that built up in my overflows that I pulled out, did you check there? I'm assuming the more you pull out the harder it is for it to spread and grow back.

If you got most of it already you could cover the tank & leave the lights off for a few days. Should help get rid of the rest of it.
